MUMMY HAD TO WORK ON TAX DEADLINE DAY

We got to have Sofia with us for a whole day! Grandpa and Sofia played for a while.
Sofia ate a good book.
Sofia talked and laughed with Grandma.
Dylan wanted it clearly understood that Clyde is HIS!
Isn't this a beautiful, if somewhat sleepy, face?
We think we're so lucky!

JANET COMES TO CALL

Our dear friend, Janet, came to meet Sofia, while Sofia spent the day with us.

It was love at first sight.
Janet brought me a "Grandma present" because she's like that.
Here's what was in the box. Pretty, huh?

We played outside for a while. It's one of our favorite things to do now.

Meredith was not pleased that Sofia refused her morning nap, but it really wasn't our fault.

A SUNNY SUNDAY SPENT WITH MEREDITH, CLYDE & SOFIA (oh yes, and Jeeves & Barclay too)

We were given a duck-tub full of all the practical things we'll need for Sofia's stays with us. What fun.
Then we all went outside to play.


Sofia had to keep a handle on Barclay.

Sofia enjoyed a dinner of sweet potatoes and chicken. Yum!
Barclay and Jeeves managed all the comings & goings.
Sofia had her bath and got ready for bed.
Grandma & Grandpa got to read her a bedtime story.
Meredith & Clyde cooked us a fabulous dinner. Can't think of a nicer way to have spent the day.

Trip to Plymouth

Visited the Mt. Aukum winery. Their wines are good, but their property is fabulous.










Dropped by our favorite, Toscano Winery. It's also a beautiful setting and Clyde likes their port.

Grandpa got his first chance to be a grandpa -- and loved it.

Darlene & Jon hosted a get-together for Clyde, Meredith, Sofia and Clyde's childhood friend K.C. and his wife Paola and their two little boys, Jed & Wyatt. What fun!
