Skating Lesson

While Sofia's Daddy is on school break, he was able to go see Sofia in one of her ice skating lessons with her teacher, Genna.  Watch for a big guy with a camera - that's Clyde, and the cute little person in a very pink coat is Sofia.

THE POLAR EXPRESS

Come join us on a ride to the North Pole on The Polar Express . . .

 We've got our jammies and slippers on and we're hanging on tight to our ticket.  We're on our way.

Hot chocolate -- "here we only have ONE rule, never ever let it cool" . . .

 The conductor signs our "Polar Express" book . . .

 . . . and while the story is read to us over the speakers, Daddy shows us the pictures . . .

Finally, we reach the North Pole and meet Santa  . . .

 Here he is and gives each of us a bell.  Only those who believe hear their bells ring.  We all heard ours . . .

CHRISTMAS SEASON HAPPENINGS

I realize that I have posted several pictures in the past of our front yard turkeys, but this is the first time that I've caught any with tails spread . . .

 The hour before Mummy comes to pick Sofia up at our house, is our TV time.  We opened the Christmas video season watching our Muppet favorite "Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas". . .

 Before we got our "real" Christmas tree, Sofia helped us decorate our front yard tree . . .

Grandma Jean joined us for one of our ice skating sessions . . .

 I'm using a new blogger format and haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet.  This is a bit out of order as our walk to the State Capital, with a stop for coffee and goodies, came first.
