THANKSGIVING

Meredith and Clyde arrived with Sofia in her party dress and Mary Janes. The cutest, sweetest little girl we've ever seen and what could any family be more thankful for?

Sofia's first Christmas present this year was really a gift for the season and had to be given early. She read her card before opening her present.
It was Christmas jammies.
We spent the afternoon visiting, playing and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on TV -- a tradition in our household. Since Sofia is now on the move, it was necessary to lose the party dress & shoes and get into more appropriate crawling attire. Still the cutest granddaughter anywhere!

After Clyde, III, stole and hid the Grandma-made pumpkin pies -- another (exasperating) tradition, Meredith the gourmet cook helped Terri in the kitchen, and Clyde expertly carved the turkey, we headed for the Thanksgiving table.
Sofia was completely worn out by a two-day interruption in her normal schedule and all the partying, crawling and holiday activities of late. So, she was taking a little nap while the rest of us feasted.
After her brief rest, Sofia joined us at the table and scarfed mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie like a pro.
Mummy helped Sofia into her new Christmas jammies, and they headed home after a long, exciting day.
Mom & Dad were with us, Elizabeth joined us for a few hours and Jo & Kip called from Alaska.
We certainly have a lot to be thankful for -- and we are!!!!
