OUR DYLAN ENCOUNTERS ROUGH TIMES

Here's our little Dylan early in February.

He seemed to be living a perfectly normal, happy doggie life.

Then he suffered a disc extrusion and had to have a laminectomy. Our poor, sweet doggie was in the hospital three days and nights. By all accounts he was a quiet, cooperative and patient patient, but it was breaking our hearts to see him have to go through this and to have to leave him every day after our visits.

Dylan is home with us now. His doctor says he is recovering faster than was expected and should be able to walk and play normally before too long.
We set up a safe, protected area in our house where we can be near each other all day and he seems quite content and relaxed being back in his own home.
This is where our primary concern and energy has gone lately and why our blog went unattended for a while. We think things are going to be fine now.
