MUMMY HAD TO WORK LATE

Well, it's April 14. For those of you checking in from New Zealand, it's the day before the tax filing deadline here in the states. This means that Sofia's Mummy had to work until all hours. Since her Daddy had a rehearsal to attend, Sofia got to have dinner, her bath and bedtime with us.

While I cooked, Grandpa waved aromas Sofia's way.
Once our dinner was in the oven, Sofia and Grandma killed some time doing a crossword puzzle together.
Sofia was very polite about Grandma's cooking and gobbled it up. It helped that we made the poor girl wait till almost 7:00. She was so hungry she would have eaten anything!
She kept us company while we finished up and had an interesting conversation with her Grandpa.

Zippy cups are no longer an issue and require no coaxing.
Sofia was sweet to Dylan, who always loves the little girl at the table with good smells on her hands.
