HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PATCH

Sofia and her Mummy and Daddy invited Papa and I to go with them to the pumpkin patch Sunday. Among the many great joys of grandparenting is going to delightful, colorful, happy places with our kids and Sofia and watching the discovery and smiles.

Look, a train . . .

Waiting to ride . . .

. . . climb on . . .

Of particular facination to Sofia was this huge, broken pumpkin. It reminded all of us of Humpty Dumpty, who also facinates Sof when he goes all to pieces . . .

Here we go, searching for the perfect pumpkins . . .

We found ours . . .

Sofia, Mummy and Daddy, on the hunt . . .

Heading out with our haul . . .

Sofia got to play in the straw. She looked like a little farm girl -- too cute . . .

Time to dust off and get shoes back on . . .

Sofia finds her perfect treasure . . .

Meredith loaded up with a variety of decorator pumpkins that will be so festive around the house for the season . . .

Loading up to head home . . .

Pretty, huh?

Thank you, Sofia, Meredith and Clyde for the fun day and the lovely memories that will now be part of our lives.
