DISNEY ON ICE

Disney on Ice came to town. We got front row seat tickets. A few weeks ago Sofia, her Mummy and Daddy, Papa and I all went ice skating so that Sofia would know what ice skating is. Then we spent a few afternoons watching the four Disney movies that would be represented at the show. We weren't sure how long Sof's three-year-old attention span would last at a live show, but we shouldn't have worried. She was spell-bound the entire time. Skaters came within touching distance of us and some even waved directly to Sofia. She waved and clapped and laughed out loud. It was the best grandparent day ever.

Cameras weren't allowed in the arena, so we took a couple of pictures in front before heading home. That's a Tow Mater hat on Papa's head, a box of pop corn in one hand and the program in the other. Sofia has a cool whirligig she fancied.

Daddy met us in the driveway where Sofia showed him how her cool toy worked. Once in the house, Daddy called Mummy at work so Sofia could tell her all about it and she held her toy up to the phone for Mummy to see.
You just can't top taking the world's cutest granddaughter to a Disney on Ice show!
