JO'S VISIT

It was a very happy surprise when Jo called from Alaska saying she'd like to come visit.

Normally we would be having lovely, balmy weather in May, but we were experiencing a cold front from Alaska.  Now who could have brought us that?  We found indoor activities to amuse us, like this visit to the Galleria playground . . .

 . . . where Sofia made some very cute friends . . .

 . . . and rode a panda bear . . .

 Hunger set in and we wandered off to the food court for a little something . . .

We had a few afternoons warm enough to grab a little time out back at home . . .

 Sofia had been asking for some time if she could play outside, and finally got the chance . . .

 Mom surprised us with watermelon -- yum . . .

Thanks Kip, Genji and Kiska for going it on your own for the week, so we could have Jo with us.  Thanks for making the trip, Jo, we really enjoyed your visit.
