We knew when we got back from vacationing for five weeks, we would see some changes in our Sweet Sofia. Here are a few cute things:She has started eating all by herself, no help from outsiders, and she can feed Barclay and Dylan at the same time.
When we left, Sofia wasn't showing any interest in stuffed animals. Yesterday, when we got her up from her nap, she pointed at the light, summer blanket we keep at the end of her bed. I gave that to her, then she kept pointing at her bed. I was pretty sure she didn't want to go back in, but I didn't know what else she wanted and she kept pointing. So, I put her back in the crib, she picked up her Lavender Lab and reached to me to take her out. I lifted Sofia out and set her down. She dragged her blanket and her lab (not easy, as they are quite big and cumbersome for her) to the livingroom back door, made up a comfy bed for her lab and tucked him cozily in. Then she sat down beside him and had some fruit juice.(a note of explanation: Lavender Lab is obviously not lavender in color. He is stuffed with lavender. We keep him in Sofia's bed, hoping that when she's grown, the smell of lavender will remind her of the love and comfort she may have found at Grandpa & Grandma's house when she was little).
Sofia also had her hair bobbed. Her Mummy says it's already grown out quite a bit, but still, new to us and -- Beautiful!
