FRIENDS

While Meredith, Clyde & Sofia are visiting back home in New Zealand, friends of their's from New Zealand, Ruth and John, are visitng with us. They are staying for a few days at the young Quicks' house in Sacramento, but we've been lucky enough to have them share a bit of their time with us. We met years ago at Clyde and Meredith's wedding, but didn't really have a chance to visit and get to know each other then. Now, though, we feel like we've been friends for years, and so enjoyed our time together.

Thanks, Ruth and John, for this lovely time, and for the dinner and good wine you treated us to.

Last night, Darlene and Jon joined us for dinner. We know how lucky we are to have all these special people in our lives.

Barclay came into our family terrified of men. Looks like Jon has won him over. Barclay made friends with John and Ruth as well. Even Barclay can't resist how dear all these people are.
