TURKEY DAY & THE DAY AFTER
On Wednesday, Clyde, Meredith & Sofia are leaving on a New Zealand family adventure. Since they'll be away for Thanksgiving and it wouldn't be the same without them, we had our Thanksgiving on Sunday.

If you read the young Quicks' blog, you already know the Sofia-and-the-onions story. Here is what it looked like . . . yum
At the end of the festivities, we were all full, happy and tired . . .
Today, the day after our Thanksgiving, Clyde & I (and Dylan) cleaned the house and put things away. Then we treated ourselves to our favorite afternoon activity, reading out back.
Late in the day, we picked Sofia up at school and spent about three hours together.

The last hour of our time together, we usually put Sesame Street on. We don't really sit and watch it, but it does catch a little person's attention now and then.
Today, Sesame Street did a segment on shoes and here's how that went . . .
Just as Mummy got here, Papa was cutting up some of the Thanksgiving turkey for sandwhiches, and Sofia was helping.
. . . All Done.
