CAMPING IN PLYMOUTH

Our last camping of the year. The weather was still gorgeous and the countryside beautiful. Next weekend will be the year's big "crush" in the Amador County wine region. The vineyards were lush, heavy with grapes and leaves just starting to turn color. This was our stop at the Drytown Cellars . . .

We always have adorable ducks at this campground, but this was the first year we saw egrets . . .

Meredith, Clyde and Sofia came up to visit us on Sunday. Sofia took a nap on our trailer bed, which she considers quite a treat . . .

On our way to the swimming pool, we stopped to feed the ducks . . .

Poor Clyde (the younger) was not feeling well and had to sit out at the pool . . .

Dylan and Barclay held down the fort . . .
Back at the trailer, we barbequed steak and sausage . . .

On our walk to the ice cream parlor, we stopped to feed the ducks again. They really like Ritz crackers . . .

. . . yum . . .

I think Sofia wanted to go swimming again, but it was almost time for her family to head home . . .
. . . so we stopped by the playground instead . . .

Sofia has never been a fan of swinging, but she was getting a kick out of pushing her Mum . . .

Mummy suggested swinging together, and that seemed to be okay . . .

Then, Sof decided to try it on her own . . .

The slide is still Sofia's favorite . . .

Time to head home. Thank you guys for joining us. We had a great time!
