BIRTHDAY PARTY

I had a birthday and, as always, my family and friends spoiled me rotten. Darlene and Jon took Clyde and me out to a wine tasting at a lovely restaurant on the river. The event involved raffle tickets as well as wine and appetizers, and . . .
. . . I won two gorgeous bottles of the featured wine! I've labeled them for sharing with Darlene and Jon at a future date . . .

Mom dropped by the house while we were out and left me this pretty gerbera daisy plant . . .

On the day of my birthday, after we picked Sofia up from school, Clyde took us to this adorable cupcake bakery for a sweet birthday treat . . .

On Saturdy, Clyde took me on a surprise picnic at Scribner Bend Winery on the delta. The sun was shining, wild flowers were in bloom -- it was perfect . . .

On Sunday, Clyde planned dinner at our house. Meredith made a yummy salad, Mom brought ice cream and cake and Clyde fixed ham, potatoes and asparagrus. Before dinner, we took a walk. Unfortunately, Mom had a bit of a cold, so she stayed behind . . .

Back at the house, we hung out, played and visited . . .

While we played outside, Mom couldn't resist tidying up my spent, dried agapantha. I didn't complain . . .
Then we feasted . . .

Thank you all for the grand time, the lovely gifts, and all the kindness you shower on me.
