SPRING THINGS

It has been tax season for Meredith. That means working weekends and until 10:00 p.m. on some nights. So, when Sofia wanted her "pink nails", Mummy just plain didn't have time to do it and brought the polish over to our house. Here is Sofia, with her freshly polished nails and Papa drying them with his computer keyboard cleaning device . . .

One of our many Starbucks, playground and shopping trips to the Galleria . . .

Sofia makes friends easily and has a grand time . . .

Shopping for two new summer dresses, just for the fun of it, because what is more fun than having a granddaughter to share pretty things with . . .

Time to head out. This was on April 15 -- tax deadline day. So, on our way to Sofia's Mummy's office, we stopped at another Starbucks and got her a sweet treat. Then we stopped by her office for Sofia to pay her a short visit. Meredith and Clyde went to the accounting office's end-of-tax-season party while Sofia came to spend the evening with us . . .

This grandparenting is fun stuff!

This picture was taken on a day that we drove Sofia home after school. She was busy being happy in her own back yard . . .

I've been having a ball tending to my spring garden. I love being outside and involving myself with all the pretty colors of this time of year . . .

My herb garden . . .
Hawthorn . . .

Gerbera daisies . . .

This 'n that . . .

Spring is just the happiest time of the year!

Thanks for making Sofia's days fun and for taking such good care of her. Great pictures of your garden.
